Dear brothers and sisters,
It is so important to fill our minds with good things. Our thoughts shape our actions and our character. When we focus on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable, we align ourselves with God’s will and His perfect plan for our lives. This is not just a suggestion but a divine instruction that helps us grow spiritually and live a more fulfilling life.
Imagine a garden, dear friend. If you plant flowers and take good care of them, your garden will flourish. But if you neglect it and let weeds grow, it will soon be overrun and lose its beauty. Our minds are like that garden. To keep it beautiful and pleasing to God, we must consciously plant good thoughts and remove negative ones.
In the Bible, we see many examples of people who filled their minds with God’s truth. Take David, for instance. He meditated on God’s word day and night, and this gave him strength and wisdom. Even when he faced challenges, his mind was fixed on God’s promises. Similarly, Paul, despite his many trials, encouraged believers to focus on whatever is true and praiseworthy.
We also learn from Jesus, who often withdrew to quiet places to pray and reflect on God’s will. His mind was always set on fulfilling His Father’s mission. By following His example, we too can find peace and direction in our lives.
Dear friend, let us make a conscious effort to fill our minds with good things. Read the scriptures daily, pray, and surround yourself with positive influences. When negative thoughts come, counter them with God’s promises. Remember, what we feed our minds, we become.
I urge you to take this to heart and make it a part of your daily routine. Share this message with others, so they too can experience the transformative power of filling their minds with good things.
